Currently studying Acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

 

Recipient of the Argyll Educational Trust Award 2012-2014, Winner of the Nurturing Talent Fund 2019, Best Actor 2021 (TIFF India) for my portrayal of Sandy Thomson in Solstice, Best Feature Film 2021 (Argenteuil Film Festival), Best Actor 2024 (for actor in a leading role for my portrayal of Paul Goul in The Last Hope: Independent Film Awards and Lulea International Film Festival).

 

I have performed with highly respected companies such as The National Theatre of Scotland, the BBC, Scottish Opera, Scottish Opera Connect Chorus, British Youth Music Theatre UK, West End Stage, and Scottish Youth Theatre.

 

Performances include working across platforms (stage, screen, online, radio), for the BBC for a year in 2014, with Scottish Opera in the Commonwealth Games Cultural Programme in 2014 and also in two productions with ACS which ran throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2016. Also with ACS I played the title role of Ivan Alexandrovich Khlestakov on stage in Glasgow in 2016 in an adaptation of Gogol's 'The Government Inspector'. Since then I have performed in numerous productions: film, theatre, musicals, operas, commercial projects and as the lead in a podcast series (Ian in Series 1 and 2 of 'Ian's Gone Postal' (itunes/Spotify).

 

I am an actor with a passion for film, TV and theatre. I do also enjoy opera, musical theatre and actor musicianship. I am a confident presenter on TV, radio and at live events.

 

I have had the good fortune to have made a lot of friends in each of the companies I have worked with, which includes the production teams, creatives as well as fellow actors. I have a good work ethic and am reliable.

 

I can be based in Scotland, London and Yorkshire and am also happy to travel.
